What's in each tier.
A few honest answers.
How many users are included?
Standard covers up to 20 people and Pro covers up to 40, so your whole crew — owner, office manager, PMs, foremen, the bookkeeper — works under one flat price with no per-seat fees. Running a bigger operation? More than 40 on the crew and we'll set you up with a custom plan: contact@ledgant.com.
Does Ledgant run my payroll?
No. Ledgant isn't a payroll system. It does the job-side work — labor cost reporting, certified payroll (WH-347), prevailing wage rates — and connects to QuickBooks, where payroll runs. Your bookkeeper keeps using QuickBooks; Ledgant syncs both ways.
Why does onboarding cost $500?
Because we don't drop the keys and leave. We spend 4–6 hours on Zoom setting up your cost codes, suppliers, and prevailing wage rates, training your office manager and foremen on a real job, and drafting your first pay app with you. It's the difference between the software being installed and the office manager actually using it Monday.
When can I get in?
We're onboarding early-access customers in batches so every setup gets real attention. Leave your email and we'll reach out with timing and next steps. We don't take a card to hold your spot.
Can I switch tiers later?
Yes — both directions, any time. Most shops start on Standard and move to Pro the first time they take on a public or prevailing-wage job.
Is this built for general contractors?
No. Ledgant is built for excavation and concrete subs. If you're a GC running multi-trade projects, a homebuilder, or a residential remodeler, you'll want a different tool.
